Creality Heatbreak 

The Creality heatbreak resembles a hollow steel spike in its appearance. One end of the heatbreak features external threads for screwing it into the heating block. It is recommended to use Creality heating blocks or similar ones with M6 internal threads for optimal compatibility.

Installing the radiator onto the Creality heatbreak is straightforward. The radiator simply slides onto the heatbreak and is secured with a clamping bolt.

A heatbreak is made fr om high-carbon stainless steel, which ensures its longevity and durability.

Purpose of the Creality heatbreak

Although the heatbreak in a 3D printer may be difficult to notice, it is undoubtedly an essential component.

Thanks to the heatbreak, the printer's extruder can be conceptually divided into two sections:

• Hot-End: wh ere the heating block is installed and plastic melting occurs.
• Cold-End: the area with a radiator that dissipates heat fr om the filament to prevent premature melting.

As you can see, the primary function of the heatbreak is to dissipate heat, ensuring that the plastic melts exclusively in the heating block. This design helps prevent over-extrusion and the constant dripping of molten plastic from the nozzle.

The Creality heatbreak is specifically designed for use in Bowden extruders.

Please note that the Creality heatbreak should only be used with Creality heating blocks and radiators or their equivalents.
