Color Printing

With the Bambu Lab A1 Mini and the AMS lite system, you will discover incredible possibilities for color printing. You now have the capability to create high-quality color models and projects, as the combo AMS lite system allows you to use four colors simultaneously in printing. No special skills or knowledge are necessary, as Bambu Studio will handle everything for you.

The Combo system, in addition to offering color printing capabilities, also allows for the installation and connection of four filament spools to the printer simultaneously, thereby quadrupling the printer's productivity. When one spool runs out of plastic, the printer instantly switches to another in a fully automated mode.

Extrusion Quality Control Sensor

Despite its relatively small size, 347 x 315 x 365 mm, the 3D printer is equipped with sensors and equipment for quality control of its operation. This includes an extrusion quality control sensor. The sensor can measure the pressure force that occurs in the nozzle during the passage of melted plastic. A specially designed algorithm allows for the control of the extrusion rate according to sensor readings, ensuring uniform extrusion across the model's surface.

Highly Precise Platform Calibration

The A1 Mini has a relatively small printing volume, 180 x 180 x 180 mm, but even on this small device, Bambu Lab has installed equipment for automatic platform calibration. The automatic calibration system operates in several modes:

• Automatically controls Z-axis displacement;
• Controls platform leveling;
• Adjusts for vibrational resonance;
• Monitors nozzle pressure on each section of the platform.
